VIII: Measure of Beauty

End?

Sometimes you're at the end of something that was beautiful at the beginning but got excruciatingly painful in between. There might have been moments where you longed and craved to see this end that your at now, this closure to a horribly agonising time or period in your life. But now all you can think of are the gloriously lovely moments that you had through that pain-staking journey. You're crying that it's over but hidden in that relief is the gratitude that it happened, that you were chosen to be the one who went through it all and that even when it's finally over, all you can think of is - how awesome it was! You will miss the pain for a long, long time.
